Every Tower of Regeneration in Code Vein 2 holds one Golden Blood Bead — and collecting all 12 is what takes your healing from adequate to reliable. Each bead increases the Recovery Amount of your Regeneration item, pushing it toward the maximum level 13.
None are missable — all remain available after the story ends. Every Tower is marked on MapMaster's Code Vein 2 interactive maps with its exact position and any era or access requirements.
Golden Blood Beads increase the Recovery Amount — how much HP each Regeneration use restores.
Spend one at any Mistle by selecting "Enhance Regeneration" then "Recovery Amount." Each upgrade costs one bead. Collect all 12, and your Recovery Amount reaches the maximum Level 13.
The distinction matters: Golden Nectars increase the number of uses your Regeneration item has.
Golden Blood Beads increase the amount healed per use. Both upgrades are required together to reach max healing potential and unlock the Unbreakable Bond trophy.
Towers of Regeneration are tall structures with stained-glass windows that appear as glowing octagonal shapes on the map — distinctive enough that they're hard to miss once you know what to look for.
Inside each Tower, the Golden Blood Bead manifests as a golden cat statue on a central pedestal. Simply approaching the statue collects the bead — no combat required in most Towers.
The first Tower is on MagMell Island in the east of the island. The remaining 11 are spread across The Continent — three in Sunken City, two in Corroded Scar, two in Undead Forest, and three in the late-game areas, including Luna Rapacis.
One Tower sits inside Clifftop Cavern and is only accessible during the 2177 timeline.
Several Towers are locked behind specific eras. The Clifftop Cavern Tower requires the 2177 timeline.
Multiple late-game Towers — including those in Luna Rapacis and the Sealing Grounds — require 2277: The Present.
One Tower only unlocks after completing the first story ending and returning to the Sealing Grounds in the past. It's not missable — return post-game via the Bond system — but it will feel absent if you search during your first playthrough.
If you've collected all 12 beads and still haven't reached Level 13, check whether the Luna Rapacis Tower is ticked. It's the most commonly overlooked Golden Blood Bead in the game due to its late-game era gate.
Three Towers require a motorcycle to reach.
Both access routes are documented in the checklist alongside their exact map coordinates.
